Link Building Ethics
Off lately, there has been a lot of debate over practice of ethical means while building up links. We, at Brainwork, believe in following fair business practices and have always believed in serving our clients with the best and qualitative services. The link building services rendered by us are based on a framework of principles and ethics which we strictly abide by. Our link building ethics include not to indulge in the following:
- To behave in a manner that will harm the client or any competitor. This consists of purposefully prying with the competitor’s site or engaging in black-hat techniques that may get the client’s site banned from search engines.
- Intentionally violating the guidelines of a search engine which may result in penalty on the client’s site from the search engine or even ban from the index of search engines.
- Breach or leak out the confidential information of the client to the public.
- Consciously violating laws such as copyright and trademark laws.
- Fail to stay updated on the changes in search engines, new techniques or training.
- Pretend the claim of certifications, affiliations, performance and capabilities of our clients.
- Set unrealistic targets or expectations or making false promises, which may eventually lead to disappointment of clients.
- Persuade conflict between the interests of two clients in relation to the keywords used for promote their business.
- Making false claims or providing misleading information regarding the products/services of the client, in order to inflate the page ranking.
- Failure to comply with the rules and regulations stated in the contract with the client or lying about the techniques used.
